Day 3: Fruit, Veggies and Soup

Today I felt pretty good. I was able to eat as much fruit, veggies and soup as I wanted, minus potatoes. I only lost 1 lb and I attribute that to the starch intake. We shall see what tomorrow holds. I am optimistic that I will have lost 10 lbs by the time this diet is finished. Until next time,...

Well, Shoot.

Here it is day 4 and I have been enjoying my soup and milk and bananas today. That is until this evening. I fell off the wagon, HARD. I ran today. I followed the diet today. And I ate pizza today. Yeah. There’s that. 😁 So for the sake of keeping it real with you, I had to share. Weight lost today: 1 lb (which I will probably gain back tomorrow!) Day 2: Veggies and Soup

Today was harder. I was hungry. But, I was able to eat as many veggies as I wanted and that included potatoes. I was STOKED to get to fill my belly with this starchy vegetable. I was in heaven. LOL! I also ate.   An entire cucumber 1 bowl of soup. I probably should’ve had more soup, but the potatoes were filling. I drank 65 ounces of water. I joined up with my running group, Run for God, and we started our training for our 5k in October. I was glad that I had eaten a starch today because between the heat and running for the first time in a long time, I was spent. I believe the potatoes gave me the energy I needed to push through. Day 1 was awesome, you guys! I had loads of energy, and I felt great. I wasn’t really hungry (more than normal) and I felt positive about continuing with the plan. Here are my beginning stats: Arms: 12 inches each Bust: 39 inches Chest: 33 inches Waist: 34.5 inches Hips: 41 inches Midway: 47.5 inches (around the largest area around my butt) Thighs/Legs: 26 inches each Today is Fruit and Soup day, so I was able to eat as much fruit (except bananas) and as much soup as I wanted. I really enjoy the flavor of the soup, so I do not mind eating it at all. I ate watermelon and almost 1 entire cantaloupe, and 2 oranges. A New Me

I’ve been standing in my kitchen prepping a soup for a ten day diet that I am about to start, and I thought I would document my daily progress for all of you to see. Losing weight is SUPER frustrating. It can be discouraging. But, I want it to be inspiring and FUN! A few years ago, I used Young Living Supplements, exercise, and a clean eating plan to lose weight. It worked. Then I got lazy and I gained my weight back AND SOME. So, here we are. I start *fo real* tomorrow. Tonight, I will eat soup and pretend it is day Day 1. I guess technically I will have 1.5 days on the 1st day, just so you know how I am starting. Oh, and I am in a competition with my husband about who can lose the most in 10 days.
