Day 2: Veggies and Soup
Today was harder. I was hungry. But, I was able to eat as many veggies as I wanted and that included potatoes. I was STOKED to get to fill my belly with this starchy vegetable. I was in heaven. LOL!
I also ate. An entire cucumber 1 bowl of soup. I probably should’ve had more soup, but the potatoes were filling.
I drank 65 ounces of water.
I joined up with my running group, Run for God, and we started our training for our 5k in October. I was glad that I had eaten a starch today because between the heat and running for the first time in a long time, I was spent. I believe the potatoes gave me the energy I needed to push through.
Day 2 weight lost: 1 lb – I believe that I did not lose more because of the potatoes. 😏
Total Weight Lost: 5 lbs
