Prime Day

My, my my… It’s Amazon Prime Day!! Ok, I have to admit I didn’t even know they *had* an Amazon Prime Day, but this is pretty cool, you guys. This is a great time to stock up on stuff you know you are going to need for the upcoming school year. One thing that you may need is a tablet for your kiddos. This Fire Kids Edition is well loved in our home. It comes pre loaded with FreeTime, which is AWESOME!!! If you are not familiar with FreeTime this will give you a better idea about what it is:  Built for kids In FreeTime, the background color changes to blue, letting parents know at a glance that their child is safe. Kids only see titles that have been selected for them. Younger kids can search before they know how to type by using Characters...

For the Love

For the Love

Recently, Young Living held their Grand Convention in Utah. Part of the festivities included visiting the farm in Mona. I was able to experience this beautiful place back in October. However, I did not see the lavender fields in bloom. Can you imagine the sight? And the scent? Oh man! I wish I could have been there. I was there in spirit. To celebrate the lavender harvest, our special for the month of July includes several goodies that feature Lavender Essential Oil. With a 300 pv purchase you will receive a 15 ml bottle of Progessence Plus – Progessence Plus™ features some of our most-loved essential oils, including Sacred Frankincense and Peppermint oil, to create a serum that perfectly pampers you. Formulated specifically for women, and ideal for women...

Exciting Things are Happening!

Exciting Things are Happening!

It’s convention week! EEEEKKKKK! I’m just a little bit excited, can you tell? This is the long awaited week every year where brand new products are unveiled. I CANNOT wait to see what is rolled out this week. I will make sure to post updates and exciting news as I get that information. You can keep up with live updates here on my Joyful Life page. Not only will there be new product announcements, but those that attend will get to tour the farms. I had this experience personally last fall, and it was something I will never forget.  The majesty of the mountains and the serenity of the farm is not easy to describe, and pictures do not do it justice.   I am so happy for my teammates that will get to experience the thrill of being in Utah this week. It is...

Summer Survival – 5 Tips for Mom

Summer Survival – 5 Tips for Mom

This is the last week of school for my 4 kids. I’m looking forward to not having nightly homework, I mean, for THEM not to have nightly homework. 😉 Seriously, though, I’m excited about the adventures I’m going to have with my kiddos: trips to the beach, the pool, walks in the neighborhood, and VACATION!! However, with this excitement also comes a *teeny* bit of dread. Don’t scoff at me! LOL! I know that after a few days of being home, my kids are going to start in with the “I’m bored” mess. And I do not have time for that! So, if you’re like me, and need a few tips to survive the summer here ya go. To keep boredom at bay, have TO DO LISTS for your littles. This could include: cleaning their rooms, walking the family...

4 Life Lessons My Kid (and I) Learned while Striking Out

4 Life Lessons My Kid (and I) Learned while Striking Out

We just wrapped up baseball season for my middle kiddle. He could not have been on a better team – fantastic coaches, sweet kids, and great parents. Our first experience with him playing was so wonderful. On our way to his last ballgame, he was reciting to us the 4 rules that his Coach taught the team this season: Listen Respect Hustle Be Tough As my son was telling us about them, I couldn’t help but think how perfectly they relate to ALL of life, not just baseball. It was a fleeting thought and one I planned to discuss with my hubby as we sat and watched the game. But, that talk never happened. We got caught up in the game and never had a chance (and let’s be real here – I just forgot). My boy struggled the last half of the season with...

The Hard Work

The Hard Work

I am raising 4 kids. It’s the hard work. The daily grind. The stay-consistent-or-you-will-regret-it job of shaping ninja babies into respectable people. Some days it feels like “them” against “us”. And, truthfully, it IS that way. I’m facing a season right now with my oldest that is straining. I’m white knuckling it through this journey and holding on to my title of parent, as hard as I can. I breathe prayers almost one moment to the next in an effort to gain power from my Heavenly Father. I beg HIM to give me strength through this roller coaster of teenager.   “God, guide me as I parent this strong child. Shield him from the enemy. HELP ME as I do my best as his mother. Protect his mind from evil things. Help HIM...

Happy Camper

Happy Camper

PMS. It Pretty Much Stinks. Thanks a bunch, EVE! But, I have a solution! 😉 That time of the month can  cause cramps, mood swings, and bloating. You know the drill. I have relatively heavy periods. It has been debilitating for me in the past. But I have found this little combo that works wonders for *me*. It helps to support my hormonal system and regulate (and even lessen) flow. It helps to reduce cramping and makes me a happier camper. Here’s what you’re gonna need for the HAPPY CAMPER BLEND: 1 10ml Roll-on Bottle   6 New, High Quality, Cobalt Blue, 10 ml Glass Roll-on Bottles with Stainless Steel Roller Balls – .5 ml Dropper Included 10 drops Cypress 10 drops Geranium 2 drops Helichrysum 3 drops Lavender 5 drops Dragon Time Fill with a carrier...
