Peppermint Sugar Scrub
Last week my friend and business buddy, Mary and I, held a Virtual Make and Take party on Facebook. I think it was a huge hit. People are looking for ways to use their oils and what better way than by making your own personal care products!
So, I thought I’d share one of the recipes here with you. It’s the peppermint sugar scrub.
This scrub is great for dry winter hands, for helping scaly skin on your legs, knees, and elbows. And, it has a light, uplifting scent of peppermint and leaves your skin feeling ever so slightly tingly. Bliss.
Here’s the 411.
1/2 cup of sugar
2 oz of grape seed oil (you can use any carrier oil – almond, olive, jojoba, Etc)
5-10 drops of peppermint essential oil
Mix it all together and store in a cute little glass jar.
These are the perfect size to give as gifts or to sit on your tub ledge in your bathroom.
If you make this scrub I’d love to hear what you think.
